Company History

HELLA was founded in 1899 in Germany. FORVIA HELLA is an internationally recognised supplier to the automotive industry. As a FORVIA Group company, it produces lighting technology and vehicle electronics and, together with the Lifecycle Solutions business group, also provides a wide portfolio of services and products for the spare parts trade. Its long tradition and innovations make it a company offering a wide range of products for the independent aftermarket.

About the Company

The company invests about 10 percent of its revenue each year in developing the technologies of the future; more than 9,000 employees work in research and development worldwide. For example, it offers lighting, electronics, sensors and many other products that ensure optimal engine performance and customer satisfaction. We have been selling electronic controls from this manufacturer since 2010.

The FORVIA group combines the strong and complementary technological and industrial strengths of Faurecia and HELLA to form the world’s seventh largest automotive technology supplier.

The company currently employs approximately 37,500 people in more than 125 locations and operates worldwide. It achieved revenues of EUR 8.1 bn in fiscal year 2023.
