Company History

The company has been in operation since 2008, when Bosch GmbH and Mahle GmbH came together in Stuttgart to form the joint venture Bosch Mahle Turbosystems GmbH. This was in response to high demand from the automotive industry for a strong European partner that manufactured turbochargers. Just 6 years later, the millionth turbocharger rolled off the line at the Austrian BMTS plant.
In March 2018, the BOSCH and MAHLE groups sold their joint venture to FountainVest Partners, and the company has since been known as BMTS Technology.

BMTS Technology is a globally operating manufacturer and recognised supplier of products for the automotive industry. It manufactures products for cars and commercial vehicles, agricultural and industrial applications. It has more than 1,400 employees in 8 locations and on 3 continents. The company’s products include, in particular, high-performance and high-quality turbochargers. BMTS is an OE manufacturer of turbochargers for the following brands: BMW, VW Group, AGCO Group, Deutz and Stellantis (Opel). It markets FNT electric turbochargers, heat pump compressors, fuel cell boosters and other technologies that aid autonomous driving. We have been handling products from BMTS Technology since 2023. We are the only company with an authorised distributor certificate from this manufacturer in the Czech Republic.
